It is a great pleasure to announce the second Robotics Engineers Forum in Bangkok will be held this August

This forum is organized by Institute of Field Robotics (FIBO), King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Thai Robotics Society (TRS) and Impress　Corporation in order to develop technologies involved in robotics, AI and IoT and incubate collaborative projects among Thailand and overseas countries.

Thailand is now entering a stage of the aged population. This circumstance will give rise to many kinds of problem in society and industry, for example, labor shortage problem, boosting productivity, improving competitiveness and others.
The second Robotics Engineers Forum in Bangkok will introduce and review case studies in which robotics technology is most widely used in Thailand and overseas countries. It will also a place to review how Robotics, AI, IoT and HRI are used and implemented in fields involved in service robots as well as　industrial robots. This forum consists of 3 fields. :

1. Industrial Robotics—Automotive/Electronics & Electrical appliances/Metals/Rubber and Plastics/Agriculture & Food and others
2. Field Robotics—Drone/Casualties/Security and others
3. Fundamental Technologies—AI/Control technique/Actuator/Motor/Image processing/Teaching System/Sensing/Electronic Parts/Materials and others.

As it is well known, this forum will adopt ""a free to attend by invitation system"" in which the organizers will select quality robotics engineers from the list owned by the organizers and will send invitation code. Robotics Engineers Forum in Bangkok 2018 is scheduled to provide about 10 sessions and gives more clearly defined presentations and discussions about advanced robotics technologies to attendances.
